Say what you like, sure williamson scored an own goal, ben arfa gave the ball away often, some other players were a let down etc but every game shola starts in he totally ruins our performance.

Why cant pardew ever adapt tactically and play a 4-3-3 or something?

Today the team looked weary but Best put his full effort into everything and shola looked like he couldnt be arsed YET AGAIN, he was a total disgrace.

How long will it take before Pardew stops playing him? and are we doomed to forever only play 4-4-2???

Thank god the dembas are back on monday, the rest of the team wasnt great today but brighton were woeful too, shola only linked play on a few occasions and always the square ball, often a poor square ball that hampered attacking momentum.

If the tip of the cigarette is not lit, you are not going be able to smoke it.

Overall i diddnt really mind us losing if im honest, part of me knew they would win all along, it happens. But what dissapointed me the most was that at least the rest of the team put in 70% shola put in about 20% and half of that effort was arguing to the ref about pointless stuff.

Is this a joke? You do realise we were playing 4-3-3 today?

Shola won EVERYTHING and nearly scored. And put a chance on plate for Best. So shut the feck up you titmonkey, im not his biggest fan at times (although I do love him) and today he worked hard and did pretty decent.

I've copied and pasted this from another thread I posted in. I shall continue to do so aswell to get you ****ers to stop using him as a scapegoat.

it was a CLEAR 4-5-1 by a mile...I did not see 3 strikers at any point in the game AT ALL....the 5 was very obvious...We only always ever had about 1 or 2 in the box..and it really hurt our chances, when your chief striker is a statue.

Besty was in the box quite a lot, it's how Chelsea etc play - 4-5-1 / 4-3-3 hybrid.

    This.

There was a lack of creativity, passion, fight, effort from everyone. Cocky twats must of thought they would win strolling around.

I'm so sick of these constant Shola bashing threads.

Yes, he's **** the majority of the time, but he'll continue to start games and constantly ****ing moaning about him won't change that.

As a side note, he has the most assists for us this season.

Won every challenge?! You kidding me? there are so many crosses that came into the box in which he got outmuscled, fell, and completely whiffed on the ball. There were a couple instances in which he did control the ball and pass off, but and for those I'll give him credit, but to say he won every challenge is ludicrous!

People on here are pissing me off with this Shola bashing. Lay off him for gods sake, nobody made an attempt to get on the end of his flick ons and he held the ball up well but again no focker made a run for him to lay the ball off to. Get off his back. Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Santon and Best were bad aswell if not worse.
