Still serves him right, drink driving is for ****s. I bet getting a taxi and collecting his car the next morning, or even hiring a chauffer would have burned such a huge whole in his pocket and left him struggling to put food on the table until the next pay day. Really.
AP is a complete tosser and im slightly surprised and satisfied my long standing hunch on him is being born out . the more i read about picture-gate the more i get infuriated by FCs silence as it could put a halt to all the animosity from FC fans (who are somehow oblivious to whats being placed on record) towards the Allams and City.
Isn't it more a case of the average tubby lard is a gobshite thicko from the thru'penny stander up to the Head of Sport, Leisure and Culture at the council. The owner of Hull FC however has a little more class then the local eggchasers and wont be entering a mud slinging contest against Hull City. AP has earned my respect as have the Allam family, I wont forget what either has done for City. Agreed, AP resurrected City from the mortuary slab for which we are eternally grateful- he took a punt when we were **** and was the best chairman we'd had in decades. He was the architect of the Third Millennium Hull City and without him we'd have been ****ed. Sad to see some ****s gloating and rubbishing him. Is there anyone in our club's history that a section of our fans feel should not be ridiculed and despised regardless of the great contribution they made? And then we wonder why our history's so ****......
I'm sure he has respect from every city fan for what he did. Drink drivers are ****s, nothing to do with what else he's done with his life. Drink driving kills people, it's illegal for a very good reason. I'm sure if he'd crashed into an innocent family and killed them all, he'd still be a revered bloke because he helped turn cities fortunes around.
Double agreed. I've been nicked for drink driving and it's definitely better if it happens when you're pissed.
The bulk of accidents don't involve excessive speed or alcohol, so statistically, you're safer in a car driven by a speeding drunk than almost anyone else.
The reaction is spot on. The people defending drink driving need to spend some time at a crash scene, where innocent people have been killed because of it. Or spend some time in the morgue with the bodies put there due to it. Or spend some time with the families affected by it. Twice over means he's a real ****. I don't care what else he may or may not have done for us in the past, he should be thrown in prison and if there's any justice he'll end up penniless. Scum.
