    Liverpool fan on tour.

I've seen that some fans go on road trips to visit all the football grounds in England and Wales.

Well I'm not quite doing that I'm just going to visit every clubs board and say hello! May even visit Scotland.

Wycombe Wanderers were first on the list well done on their promotion.

If I'm on your board I'm just saying hello and camping out for a while pop in for a chat.

    Hi !

This is the low cost low energy way of going on tour, I guess. Armchair/beer touring.

Care to drop Meireles off at the Cottage, whilst you're visiting?

We have a few midfielders just 1 or 2, the only ones possibly available are Shelvey and Spearing both worth a loan but Spearing wants to stay.

How do you think your season will go?

So is meireles definitely staying despite the new central midfielders you've signed? I thought he was quality last season and it would be foolish to let him go. Also do you know if aquilani is definitely returning or not? Were pretty well covered for central midfielders now so I doubt we'd want either shelvey or spearing this season, although from I was impressed with what I saw of spearing last season.

As for our season, generally there seems to be a strong consensus amongst us that a top 10 finish, a europa run into the knockout stages and seeing some of our younger players (briggs, frei, dalla valle etc) establish themselves in our 1st team would constitute a successful season.

I don't see Mereiles leaving but Aqualani may want to go if the media are right (which they usually are not).

Dalle Valle was the striker you got from us, has he played much?

Not for us - he went on loan last season to Bournemouth and turned in some decent performances as I understand it. Not sure if he is really ready for serious Premiership football just yet but think he is a decent prospect.

I know some Liverpool fans didn't want him to go. Personally I didn't see what the hype was about he looked ok in the games I saw but nothing special.

According to the Captain - if I remember rightly - he looks a little lightweight.

You never know I suppose, do you think he will get any games or be off on loan again?

I'm a bit of a Haangeland fan top player, reminds me a bit of Hyypia.

I'm not yet convinced by Dalla Valle - but to be fair only seen EL matches - he still looks nervous and boyish.

I agree about Haangeland being like Hyypia - both composed and calm

Yes, Dalla Valle was too easily bullied off the ball for Bournemouth, but he played well when he had a big targetman alongside him. My view at the end of his loan was that he probably wasn't ready, but definitely had potential - his finishing is sharp. Nothing I've seen in the Europa games (not much, admittedly) has changed my mind on that. I hope he goes out on loan to a championship side, with a view to being ready to do something for us after Christmas or next season.
