    :bandit: Liverpool fan on tour.

I've seen that some fans go on road trips to visit all the football grounds in England and Wales.

Well I'm not quite doing that I'm just going to visit every clubs board and say hello! May even visit Scotland.

Wycombe Wanderers were first on the list well done on their promotion.

If I'm on your board I'm just saying hello and camping out for a while pop in for a chat.

By all accounts Gulacsi sounds like a decent player but until I've seen him play I can't really say much more than that. Besides Steve Walsh, our chief scout, is excellent at spotting young players with good potential so I can't see Gulacsi being any different. Let's hope he's part of a building block towards a promotion push. Good luck for the season (apart from Saturday of course).

Gulacsi is a really good player and should be a good loan for you. I heard good reports about Ayala last season from some of you guys.

I'd love Ayala to be a city player, he is a good player. I can't help thinking he is never going to make the Liverpool team though.

He hasn't been given much playing time in friendlies so far. I rate him and would prefer him to Skrtel Soto and Wilson. Not sure on his future at the moment.

I hope Kenny finds a solution for Ayala - it looks like he won't be joining us in this window. Let's just hope McShane picks up a freak suspension at the beginning of September, meaning Ayala has to come in on an 'emergency loan' :p

He only has one year left on his deal though, so sending him to us loan wouldn't really make much sense over on Merseyside

I'm looking forward to seeing Gulacsi, sounds a great prospect. He should be playing in the annual Winteron game tonight, so we'll get our first viewing of him then.

Have a good season, we look forward to Saturday...

The problem is we are already overloaded.
Flanagan Robinson Insua Soto Carra Agger Skrtel Ayala Wilson Kelly Johnson Aurellio.

Off the top of my head.

Still could do with a top notch defender though when u compare your defence with other top 4 challengers (maybe excluding Arsenal)

I agree. We have some talented youngsters but imo only Agger and Carra are the required standard.

Do Arsenal still count as a top 4 challenger?

I can honestly see them not even qualifying for Europe this year if Fabregas and Nasri leave. RVP never completes a full season and it doesn't look like anyone really wants to go there.

And yeah ok i guess they are obviously a top 4 challenger as they finished 4th last season :p

Yeah they will be challenging but I'm with you, I think Liverpool may pip them to 4th

Arsenal might get 6th but i can't see them higher than that, i think that they're lucky that teams like Villa and Everton don't seem to have it in them to compete this season, but if an underdog has a good season and gets up there (like Bolton and Fulham both have before) then who out of Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal & Tottenham looks weakest? Tottenham aren't in the Champs League this year so they'll focus more on the league so for me Arsenal are the team to drop out if an outsider sneaks in.

The question for me is who is going to be the team to put up the fight? Villa? Everton? Sunderland? Fulham? They all have a chance in my book
