<cheers> Liverpool fan on tour of the Not606 footy boards again.

You lot are probably sick of me but I just couldn't miss you out.

I had my fingers crossed that you would stay up but it wasn't to be. <sorry>

How's life on my 2nd fav board?

Afternoon Luvgonzo. We're keeping afloat, just. We are waiting to hear when/if the club has been successfully taken over by the WW Supporters' Trust and on what terms.

We are doing exceptionally well retaining the players we wanted; all those offered contracts have signed, including some from the youth academy which, as you probably know, has been discontinued as not financially sustainable.

There's a problem signing new players as we are faced with a transfer embargo due to a delay in submitting accounts; something that can't be done before the takeover is finalised.

Once the takeover is finalised it will be a much happier place, despite the financial hardship we face. The bookies aren't optimistic about our chances this season but, as long as we can get onto a stable financial basis, I think we could accept dropping out of the league and having to fight our way back up again. Managing to stay in the league during this financial pressure will be a major bonus.

It will be a relief to be rid of the current owner, who led us into this financial nightmare, and we will overcome whatever crises awaits.

Tomorrow is the start of a new era.

Crazy days. I'm glad we were rescued from the Americans by umm, well more Americans. <laugh>

I'm happy with Rodgers as our new manager, looking forward to his brand of footy.

Looks like it's a bit quiet on here, our board is the same.

There's a thread on our board about it and not one of us would trade Rodgers for Redknapp (unless it was Louise). I'm not a fan of the guy, good motivator but tactically not so good.
