    I´ll bet my shirt
    That they´ll be hurt
    After last weekend´s 0-5,
    And a wolf in pain
    Even if it´s lame
    Will do anything to survive

    They´ll scrap and they´ll fight
    And possibly bite
If they get even half a chance,
    So we must beware
    And also take care
To take up the right sort of stance

    Don´t let them smell blood
    Down at Carrow Rud
Or they could just get quite a thirst,
    If we could begin
    By penning them in
Perhaps then we could just strike first

    And on our own patch
    We´re usually a match
For scavengers, both bird and beast,
    We give no reprieve
    And generally leave
Them not that much on which to feast

    But when desperate
    As these wolves, I´ll bet
Will be, they can find extra strength,
    So we´ll need to be
    Vigilant, to see
The battle out, and won at length

    And a victory here
    Would see us quite near
To surviving our first year back,
    Amongst the big guns
    So let´s hope to stun
A good few of Connor´s wolf pack. OTBC

Bravo RBF! This is a strange one because unlike Wigan wolves are really in free fall and struggling with injuries and there guys on 12 yards are fearing the worst and especially reading the comments on there we should be looking at no less than 3 points. Some say its the wrong attitude to have but unfortunately this is a game we should win and tbh NEED to win...

These sort of games are never easy `boots`, but you´re right, it ought to be three points, and even if it´s not pretty, I´d happily take any sort of win.

Hi RBF, quite honestly I'm less confident on the outcome of this than I was on the Wigan match! It's always dangerous when a side like Wolves, have given up hope, it's as if they no longer have any fear in their play so that it eases the burden and they play with a new freedom!

Fine poetry as always sir! <ok>

I am a bit concerned tbh, cos if we dont pick up 3 points from this then we could find ourselves in a very sticky situation. This game reminds me more of bolton than wigan though because bolton were playing truly dreadful when we played them but atleast wigan were playing pretty well before the game with us.

I believe we will win on Saturday, but agree that it's not going to be as easy as a lot of people think. Think the fans will need to be patient because Wolves will be looking to restore a bit of pride after their last match and will make it difficult for us to play.

Not confident at all TBH. Can see us getting sucked in to something if we are not careful as Boots says. That said I am more confident that we will be OK due to other teams fixtures rather than us getting points at the moment. Too many team changes since the Swansea game that I feel has affected consitency by not having a settled side. Also a feeling that we are "safe" has been a bit premature and possibly affected the squad (and fans!!).

This game reminds me so much of a match, I think back in the 70's. Late on in the season Sheffield Utd came to Carrow Road well adrift at the bottom, already relegated and turned us over 1-3 if my memory serves me right. The football they played was totally carefree and I thought they were by far the best side at CR that season. I think we are a totally different animal these days but we must show Wolves respect and stamp our authority on the game.

    Love it RBF! <ok>

Lawrenson has predicted we will win 2-1, so inevitably we will lose!

lawro rarely gets a prediction right with us, but i tend to ignore what his score prediction is, more interested in what he has to say about us.

personally i'd be dissapointed with a loss against Wolves, happy with a draw and over the moon with a win

I'd settle for a scappy 1 - 0 with a goal going in off Holtys bum!

We have to be positive lads. Wolves looked clueless against Manure so I don't see where the improvement will come from in the last few days. Their real scrapper, Henry is still out, so the idea of them scrapping for every point may be true in desire but in practice can they actually do it?
We showed signs against the Toon that we were getting back to to our earlier form and I'm sure positive selections from PL and a noisy enthusiastic crowd will see us perform well and beat them to remove any lingering worries about the dreaded drop. Its possible for us to go up 4 places by Monday evening so every inducement is there for evryone involved to make tomorrow a great day.
So all squeaky bums, gut feelings, omens can be consigned to the recycle bin.

for what it's worth, Merson has gone 1-1
he reckons we look like a tired team.

I'm convinced that we will win, and by at least a couple of goals. I accept what you are saying about their desperation etc, but we have been playing well, and are due a good result. I'm not at all afraid about tomorrow; I'm looking forward to a cracking game; 2-0 up at half time, and an even better second half. There; I've said it!

gg - I fancy we´ll pull off a win too, we´ve certainly been playing well enough, but these types of games are notoriously treacherous, and in Fletcher they have someone who knows how to score, keep him quiet and I think we´ll be fine. :)

I was at that game kris, Tony Currie scored for the Blades I seem to recall. I can even remember where I was standing too, at the front of the South Stand where only us young 'uns could go. Scary thing is that the weather that day was much the same as today ! <doh>
