load of bollocks again apart from ten minutes or so in the first half. The view was pretty awful but Konchesky seemed the worst of a bad bunch and JET didn't turn up. Completely played into their hands just lumping it forward. On the odd occasions we played football we had good chances. Green- 7- did nothing wrong and one good save Konchesky- 2- cart horse Hill- 6- unspectacular but did his job Hall- 7- consistently one of our best players Onuoha- 5- not a full back while there's a hole in my arse but still better than Perch Toszer- 5- slow, very slow Henry- 6- one of the better performances from this non-entity Luongo- 7- did his bit Phillips- 3- consistently **** Jet- 3- still waiting for him to turn up Ramsey-n/a- no tactics from where I was stood. Time to go.
It just looked so bloody predictable. ..everything was the same throw ins...free kicks. ...nobody to put their foot on the ball and move it about. ...Apart from the last 10 minutes of the first half when we hit the woodwork twice we were so poor up front doubt their keeper will have an easier game all season.
Feedback seems to suggest that Phillips is not half the player he was, maybe any quality has been coached out of him.
How much does it say about your 11th player that you're still waiting for JET to turn up but he was still more memorable than who ever else it was that played?
My guess is he knows he's off in Jan. We've seen the guy has plenty of ability but he's been well below par for weeks.
Right at this moment in time, do you get the impression that he's sitting indoors, sat in his favourite chair with a scotch on the rocks playing the game over and over in his head and ruing his latest performance ... or is he tucked up in bed fast asleep without a care in the world? Just another day at the office. When he had the ball he didn't do anything with it. When he didn't have the ball he stood on the far touchline hands on hips. Everytime there was a break in play he toddled off to the dugout for a drink, because one might be fooled into thinking he'd been working his socks off. He doesn't want to be here. He thinks he's better than he is, ( he's not ) and he finished the game with a cleaner kit than he had begun it.
It might be a good time for you to hit the sack Mr Damage Did anyone notice this? When Clint Hill went down injured for two or three minutes. And you know when you're watching football on the tele and you're 1-0 down and you see the players, especially the captain , run over to the bench and the manager waves his arms about and shouts a bit and tells them what to do. Well none of that happened tonight. Coach Ramsey stood there with his andes on the end of his armies and they were stuck in his coat pockets. Matt Phillips were stood two yards in front of him having yet another drink of water, but he had his back to him. The next nearest QPR player were 50 yards away. Not one of them looked towards the bench to say 'What now gaffer?' 'Is there any plan B?' No, nothing. Not a dickie bird, Ramsey didn't react, neither did any other on-field players. Something is amiss.
With Philips it's clearly an attitude thing .... Did not get the move ..... I was watching in boozer with a good few pals ...was ****ing imbarissing.....ffs....
Something was amiss the day he was given a premier league club fighting for its survival 9's, the day after the transfer windows closed with us having spent £0 on trying to survive. Tony's fault not Rambo's. Rambo needs to walk really if the club wont push him, but that's just not the way in the modern world anymore. I think Les's should go as well, he's not qualified for the role as the employment of Warnock has clearly demonstrated. (Plus Les came to assist Harry, be funny if with Neil assisting him, he got his job, Karma eh?) I muse as to what Neils wages are this time? I would make an employer that sacked me then came crawled back to literally cut of both arms & a leg before I would even consider going back. Think Neil may have the power. Hope I'm right.
Phillips? He never could play from the left or with his left. Now he can as he has shown the last 2 games. Last night he did brilliant work on the left before his pinpoint cross Luongo headed onto the cross/ bar joint. He made some good runs on the right, and was our biggest threa going forward all game.
why do our players need a plan b use plan a put the ball in their net more often than it goes into ours if plan a fails refer to plan a professionals my arse
It's not often I agree with Damage especially after our disagreement of Hall pre season but I think he's spot on. RAMSAY has to go! That was worse than Sunday pub football! Can't pass to feet, infact every pass is a clearance! Toszer and Henry are a total waste of 2 players considering the options we have. Perch as I said pre season was a poor signing and konchesky is garbage. I would prefer to be losing 1-0 to brentford and seeing the likes of Kpekwa, furlong/Harriman, cox, doughty etc. Why do none of our youth players get a realistic chance even when the seniors can't perform? He trusted Furlong in the end of our premier league campaign yet not in the championship.
I have never rated Phillips as highly as some on here, but I agree that he was good at times last night.
I don't remember him being anything more than inconsistent. When he turns up, he bosses games. But he doesn't often turn up or has a moment of magic from time to time but doesn't usually play well all game.
Ramseys post match comments "we played ugly which was the game plan".......FFS I thought we had the better team? why do all our Managers lose the plot?!!
