I hope we have our best eleven. I want to see Wycombe playing good football and scoring goals and, of course, winning.

Oh crap! We have only lost in midweek so far and we're awful when the Sky cameras are at our games. <wah>

that's ok, win all of those and lose all the midweeks and we move to 86, which would have won us the league last season!

whilst that's obviously unlikely, we are now in a situation where 27 points will give us 80 (a normal promotion target) - ie win half our games. Don't know whats made me look that up now but this all of a sudden seems to be getting more realistic

What is realistic is that we could well draw a third of those games. That would mean we would need to win 7 of the other 12. If we can avoid losing 5 games we would be in with a chance

Sadly I see a slump coming, Our defence is holding firm but the lack of goals must be hitting confidence (I think I read a Mawson interview precluding to that). Has anyone got into double figures yet. I don't see Craig being the goalscoring answer (but he is a useful foil for the other strikers) therefore I feel Holloway or McClure need to start hitting the net until Hayes is back. Thinking about it have they played together up front? That might be the answer.

I would still take play-offs, and I reckon wed give them a good go! however I don't think automatics are beyond us now, but the crucial thing is getting hayes back to fitness and back in the team ASAP, as we simpily do not look the same attacking unit without him. The only other striker who really looks like a scorer is McClure, but he needs to find form

I would take the playoffs in a heart beat, even if offered now. A run to Wembley would be ideal but would we cope with promotion, I doubt it. So ideally a run to Wembley and more stabilisation of the club next season.
