    You do wonder how the governing bodies manage to achieve anything. If it takes this long for one player (a regular international already playing in Europe) to get clearance, I'm surprised that anyone bought on deadline day actually plays before December with the backlog that generates.

    Looking forward to seeing what Isla can do in the hoops.

    I'm surprised it came so quick. I dont kmow if this is the reason, but the UK is not in the Schengen group of European countries as Italy and most other European nations are. Normally, someone with a passport from outside Europe has to go through a long beurocratic exercise to get into the UK. Getting into a Shengen group country also takes a long time, but once in, going from one Schengen country to another is just a formality.
