Being something of a cynic, and given the vast amount of money that there is in sport today, I would not be the surprised in the slightest if this had been somewhat contrived. Of course there'll now be a fight between the two men. They're both after one last payday as the opportunity for a world title is now beyond either of them. What better way to stir up interest in such a contest than to exaggerate the antipathy between them? Maybe it was more Haye, but however it was contrived it was contrived. These guys are turning boxing into WWF and there's nobody with the class or 'box office' of Ali, Frasier, Foreman, Tyson or Lewis anymore. So they have to make the most of what little draw they have.
I would say there is a good chance this was staged. I cant believe they would not have got in between them,before it got to that stage and Haye just happened to be there with a bottle in his hand?..and lots of hand bags and grappling...Haye and Chisora milking it before they completely vanish from the boxing world. Used to box at school. School boy level was decent and courteous and taught me discipline and respect for my opponent. Boxing nowadays is all gangsta rap and bigging yourself up. I enjoyed the 'fear' and loved it. Was compulsory at my school, today I guess it's banned by the pc brigade.
