Fair be though... when we lost against Oldham no one was really surprised... it was during Rodgers first 6 months when he was doing his chicken tikka taka Masala routine. We were crap then... about as crap as I've ever seen us. No one expects us to be crap this time... it'll be a legitimate shock if we screw up this time.

meh.... all we need know is if the tie we play is one and where... hope for a decent surface thats not going to injure anyone then go whup them.
a rest day for utd then.... I would hope we can get through the tie without any disasters. the 5th round is likely to be packed with a lot of big teams based on the draw so the draw for round 5 will either be cruel or kind. I'd rather be in it that wishing silverware, silverware, silverware.
Aye top 4 and the FA Cup, that would be a decent season in my book, esp. when you consider where we've been the last couple/few seasons!
that would be a great season and as you say especially as progress from where we were. I think personally 2001 was not only a season of 3 cups. that was amazing but the 4th place was worth more as it put us up there. in 2004 we got 4th with a manager who delivered a treble but got the sack.... now luck played a huge part in 2005 no denying it but it set us up for 2006-2009 but moores sold us to the ****es. I feel we are back in 1998-2000 type time frame trying to break into the CL. The side that gets in might stay in, the side that falls out will be in trouble. thats why arsenal celebrated 4th last year like they won something.
good for bournemouth cos they aint exactly rich. Either club will be glad of a visit from a prem team in round 4 to boost thier coffers.
Can we ask them to have a whip-round to help some of our fans get there? Seriously, good story. It makes a change from all the mindless tribal hatred we see all too often.
