Omg

My Mrs came home yesterday with the good news that she had taken Saturday off so that we could "do something". I have so far provided detailed and compelling reasons why I cannot:

Go to the beach
Climb Ben Nevis
Boat around Loch Lomond
Go to see Super 8
Go out for dinner

I wonder how long it will be before she gets the hint? Roll on Saturday!

The season must be close as I've started to be scared, mainly because I don't know what to expect. A few games in and some points on the board and I might feel more confident. We all had that strange feeling of confidence last year (strange for a Saints fan anyway), so I'm hoping for a good start. Must keep repeating: trust NA, trust NA.

Take her out early: wear her out so by about 3-4pm she is soooo tires that she wants to go home for about 5pm!!

Or

Drive to the airport and tell her it's a surprise. Book flight to Eastleigh airport and then get a taxi to Britannia Road ... Job done

Love your thinking fats but my bank manager would veto plan B at the moment. It has been filed away for future use though!

Haven't been this excited about the start of a campaign for years, i'm buzzing! Feels like the day before a cup final or playoff match or something... :emoticon-0102-bigsm
