I've just been offered 10 corporate tickets at the Olympics, you get full hospitality(lunch/drinks) and get to attend three events over three days, Athletics, Beach Volleyball and Rowing. How much do you this this little package costs?
You love to come on here bragging about your perceived wealth. eg club Wembley, Olympics, hospitality at your place etc.
I'm not bragging about anything, this is a guess the price competition, they're not my tickets, if you don't want to participate, then by all means **** off.
tbh the way the tickets have been distributed for the Olympics as been an absolute ****ing disgrace, far to big a percentage given to corporate types and even Jo public needs to fork out bout a grand to get some, well known world class athletes cant get some even for their families while the corporate lot just piss it up!
I would think it would be up around £1k a head per day so £30k !!! Which might be worth it if it's the women's beach volleyball.
OLM, Try emailing Boris Johnson & Bradley Wiggins, they didn't get tickets and might bite your hands off for a tasty sum..
Considering that it just says Athletics(so presumably won't include the 100 meters etc) and the Beach Volleyball picture shows a bloke, I think the tickets are extortionate, they're £55,900.00 for the ten.
I would think that's about par for the coarse for 3 days at a major international event. It's over £1k to get a box at kc for a football match so I dread to think what it is at say the grand national or the british grand prix.
Firms wanting to host clients at the Olympics will need to pay £4500 a head for the gold-medal athletics events, and that's just for starters. They have to buy a minimum of 10 of those tickets, plus at least 10 for each of two less popular events. So the final bill is likely to be north of £61,000 plus VAT. A box seating 40 for every session of gold-medal gymnastics and basketball is available for £617,400.
To be honest I have no interest in the Olympics at all. I wouldn't go if they gave me free tickets to the 100m Final and paid for my travel and Hotel.
I'll give you a grand for the Beach Volleyball tickets. 2 grand if you throw in a pair of binoculars (extra powerful) please log in to view this image
I suspect the tickets for this Olympic event might be a bit cheaper....... http://www.hullcityafc.net/page/NewsDetail/0,,10338~2372798,00.html
on the subject of olympic tickets, i managed to get tickets for the semi final football at old trafford. probably the only event i'd be interested in, apart from the aforementioned womens volleyball...
Can't believe the organisers have been taken in by that venue application, just because a place is full of cockneys every couple of weeks doesn't make it part of London.
