    Absolutely great news.
    Im not an athletics fan by any stretch, but i only said in the office this morning that when it comes to southampton i would like to see it. My Director replied "where will you actually get a decent view though?".

    And it should help fill seats for the ML cup game.

    The only problem could be actually seeing the flame as it could be surrounded by 30,000 beaming, white teethed, promotion grins!!

    I wonder how many other football stadiums/sports venues it will visit??
    Good news though, saves me taking a day off during the week to spend on my tiptoes trying to see over everybody else for 8 hours to maybe catch the smallest glimpse of a flame somewhere in the distance........<grr>

    I just love Nicola Cortese more and more, every time he does something like this. A great marketing coup to get the club associated with the world's biggest sporting festival.
