I think this is terrible news for west ham fans. The Boleyn Ground is a great venue with atmosphere and a pitch that is so close to the fans. You will move ground to an empty vacuous generic stadium that has a runningtrack round the pitch. Your fans will go quieter and many of the old guard will moan. Lads wont know where to sit for singing and atmosphere and it will break up the noise. The empty seats will also effect the experience. Upton Park was very much like our old ground, Filbert Street. Now we are at the walkers most singers at our club would love to go back...it just aint the same! I know things move on but not all changes are good. It's one more step to ripping the working classes out of footie. You'll find it to be more like the Emirates...a library, where the away fans outsing you.
