Matt Baker (Gold Medal ) I have been impressed with the Easington lads knowledge and all round ability both commentating and interviewing. Sue Barker (Gold Medal) Matured into one of the best all round presenters on the BBC. Claire Balding (Silver Medal) Moved from just talking about horses, to reasonable all round presenter. Gary Lineker (Bronze Medal) Out of his football only comfort zone, looks and sounds lost. Jake Humphrey (Out of the medals) Likes the sound of his own voice too much!
Have you seen the unbiased commentary team cheering Mo Farrah on. BBC placed a camera behind them and they were jumping about and screaming like banshees on the last lap. It was funny and good to see.
There's a difference though, 99% of the time Balding talks sense. Bruce on the other hand 99% of the time talks ****e!
I like Lineker and Balding I think the BBC have done a fantastic job showing the Olympics. I have to say my first love is football but I can't say I have been as excited as yesterday at many football games.
If I was Lineker I would be looking at the reception and acclaim the medal winners get and wonder what it would have been like if the England football players of his generation had shown the same grit, determination & desire to win, fulfilled their potential and won something. Claire Balding look like Steve Bruce, lmao - very good - perhaps if Bruce had a nose job!!
If I was Lineker, I would still be planning a hit on turnip head Taylor, for bringing that plank Smith on for me before I could match or better Charltons record for ENGLAND>
