Ed, usually I agree with you but not this time! Making contact ie brushing AY doesn't warrant going down like a sniper took him out! He's a cheat and needs to stamp this out. Just my opinion though.

i normally cant stand divers at all mountain fox but on this occasion i just dont understand it. Both times he has clearly been caught and when at speed/changing direction it will always send you over. Yes he made the most, but diving? Diving implies no contact.

PS- nice to hear you agree in the main with my views ;)

Diving also includes dragging your foot against a defenders, and Young is proving a master at it

Sol Bamba for the 110m hurdles, he could prob stride over them rather than having to jump them.

... Messi rarely goes down if he has a chance to score - so you don't need to. I'm also old enough to have seen the late, great, George Best, who took tremendous punishment from defenders (when it was very much a 'mans game')yet would usually get his own back by staying on his feet and scoring. Contrast Ashley Young's theatrics with the punishment that the Rugby boys take and you can't help but be disgusted with his play acting. If I was a fan of a team yet to play Man Utd I would seriously consider having a great big banner made with Ashley Young on a diving board, encourage chants of 'diver, diver' every time he gets the ball and also have a row of mates with plastic numbers to hold up 9.2 9.3 9.5 etc every time he goes over - with that type of coverage refs will soon start giving the 'benefit of the doubt' to defenders every time he goes over ... nothing less than he deserves - but as you can see, I'm not bitter about the cheating litlle ****!!!!!

haha fosse. I hate divers more than anyone- trust me- im more of a rugby man but play striker and never go over easily myself. Its just on these occasions there as actually been contact. The 1st time he is at speed and the second he is changing direction and shifting all his body weight. Oh well, ill give this what i call the 'Courtney Lawes' treatment- i dont rate him, yet everyone else does, so ill just accept that im wrong even if i dont see it myself.

Ed - spot on - he has made a late bid for the diving team and he may double up with Cashley Cole in the Synchronised Dummy Spitting ... where they could take on our very own Paul Gallagher and Matt Mills ... Jermaine Beckford is also expected to do well in the Ninety Minute Sulking ...

Cole may be an awful person, but that display last night is one of the greatest LB displays that i think i have ever witnessed in my life. Top LB.
