I have a solution to the immigration problem. Stop the boats.......literally. There can't be many companies around the world who can make those large rubber dinghies so target them. Anyone who wants to buy a large dinghy needs to register and every large dinghy needs to be licensed. If we spent a tiny fraction of what we're spending on dealing with the problem after they're in the dinghy, we wouldn't have a problem. Don't say can't because there is no way this is anywhere near as difficult as sending them to Rwanda. The EU should agree since they have the same problem but if they don't we can do it anyway as we're an island.
I agree with most of what you said, Roger, except about the RNLI. Life boats are just that, but they don't have to take the people back to the UK. Deposit them in the port they came from.
