Olivier Giroud's wife Jennifer has shut her Twitter account after the Arsenal and France striker admitted to cheating on her. Just hours before yesterday's FA Cup clash with Liverpool, the 27-year-old apologised following allegations that he had slept with model Celia Kay. His partner Jennifer later received a torrent of tweets, offering advice on how to deal with the situation. However, she decided to close the account in a bid to keep her private life away from the watching public. Giroud came on as a late substitute in yesterday's 2-1 win, having reportedly pleaded with boss Arsene Wenger not to fine him a whopping £200,000 for the incident. It is alleged to have taken place in a hotel, prior to the Gunners' home match with Crystal Palace on February 2. Kay claimed in the Sun on Sunday: "Olivier knows the truth and the fact that he lied about us is pathetic." The Frenchman decided to tweet his apology saying: "I apologise to my wife, family and friends and my manager, team-mates and Arsenal fans.
