Alright all. I'm led to believe there is a lot of disquiet on this board, regarding the rape of your first team, with us as the main perpetrators. Just wanted to say I'm sorry that it's happening, but football is a brutal game and **** happens. I'm sure you'll get some great signings to take you forwards into a new era. Just remember - it's not personal <ok>

You're just splash damage. The anger is aimed at your new twatbearded judas player.

You're welcome to Lallana, especially for that price. Pleasure doing business with you.

Is it me or are Liverpool so arrogant that they can't be bothered to read anything on the board before making their judgements? I haven't read one post against Liverpool - only a few saying we want to beat them to prove a point to those players who left.

Listen, Liverpool fans, we don't care about you. We. Could. Not. Care. Less.

Twatbeard, on the other hand, is a dick.

Olive branch can come after the opening game. We need this hatred to fuel us.

Thanks for the post, our Red friend. We have had our team pillaged before - Blackburn Rovers were the culprits last time. What good did it do them - apart from winning the league?!

I'm sure I'm not alone in finding the current situation with Liverpool a little odd. It's like being stalked. More significantly, it feels like one of the big boys in the class taking your favourite toys because they can. And in this case, it happens to be the least successful of the big boys.

But don't worry. I will travel to Anfield (half an hour from my place!) knowing that I will be able to go into any pub sporting a Saints shirt and there will be banter. You lot will be welcome down at SMS next February. If we win you'll be honest in defeat, and if we lose you'll be pains in the arse! Nothing's changed. We're football fans, mate. What our clubs do or don't do will never be influenced by the likes of us. Enjoy Rickie's swan-song. He deserves it. You'd better hope that Lallana grows a pair between now and next season.

We aint happy Red. Not happy at all. Unfortunately, that is football.

Genuine question... Are you happy with £25,000,000 for Lord twatbeard? Are you happy to have him because I'm not sure he is any better than you already have. In fact I'd say Coutinho is better. If he does do well, don't trust him if he starts kissing the badge and saying he wants to finish his career with you... we are not bitter, I promise. :D

Lambert is different. I'm made up for him. He won't make a massive impact for you but will score a few goals and it's a lovely end to his fairytale.

How do you think you will do this season? If you could just let us have the win on the first day, then I think we can all kiss and make up. Everything will feel much better then.

Rocking out in Belgium for the last week it seems like maybe I've missed something. Adam going was on the cards for ages and that he's gone is not a surprise. All I know is that he's gone to Liverpool...I don't know how much for, or why everyone seems to hate him so much. What happened? Was it a messy breakup?

You got Rickie at the right price RHC but I think time will tell that you paid way over for Adam. No anger from me against Liverpool but we as Saints fans are bound to feel bruised when three of our WC players leave .

I'd rather Man U win the league than Liverpool. Ideally, Liverpool won't qualify for CL next year.

They certainly won't get out of the group stage this year.

25 mill is way too much and no, I'm not a big fan. However, Rodgers obviously rates him and by and large, I rate Rodgers. He may develop further with different coaching methods. I reckon Lambert will defo have an impact when he plays. He's a better footballer than many give him credit for and a hell of a sound bloke, to boot.

Please take care of Rickie...he will always be a Saint. Don't be surprised to hear him called Southampton's Goal Machine at Anfield :)

I'm not sure any Saints fan will want the team that has poached the core of our team to do well. It's nothing to do with the years of "glory" (not in my life time) that precedes this poaching.

Also the way you backed your cheating, racist bighter was pretty diagracful now I think about it.

I haven't got much love for your lot right now.

All my dislike is reserved for United...their fans are in a league of their own. So it's anyone but United for me...okay, not Chelsea either.

I think Rickie may well do for you what Teddy Sheringham did for the Mancky Mob. £4m is a "bend over I'm going to take your pants down and spank that botty" steal.

Other fans really do not get the anger of Saints fans. Its not that 3 of our England players have left
Lambert, love the guy and wish him all the best at HIS club, he is a pool fan and to even play one season must be a dream
Shaw, was obvious he would leave but we got top dollar for him and a good sell on.
Our beloved captain, only a few short months ago pledged his future to Southampton saying he wanted to finish his career here and kissed the badge, his head got big playing for England and gave the board a choice of selling him as he would never play for Southampton again, throwing his toys and giving the board no choice but to sell him.
Hadron, how would you feel towards Stevie G if he had done that to Pool because he had a better offer from Madrid.
Lala was without doubt in the top 5 favourite saints player list for 99% of Saints fans, to me only second to Le Tiss, now he is the most hated ex player, all because he showed no respect.
A statement saying he thanked the club, thanked the fans but needed a new challenge after 14 years at the club was all it needed. He truely has ****ed this up and there is nothing he can do to change it
