According to all the rumours, he's flying there today.

Could be enough to keep Cardiff up, which means they'll be taking points from others around us but his Old Trafford links could mean more competition for players.

EDIT **** knows what happened there. I'm blaming a delayed millennium bug. It made sense when I wrote it...honest.

Are you drunk? That first paragraph is mind boggling.

   .

TBH I wouldn't be surprised if he turned it down. Cardiff under Tan is probably the worst place for a manager to begin his BPL career,

I would expect his time there as a player and coach would leave him with contacts and knowledge of the players and system, so we would have some competition n'est-ce pas?

He would be a bigger fool than Barmby was, if he takes a job under Tan.

I'm amazed that he's gone there.

Thought he wouldn't want his reputation in England tarnished by being a Tan yes man.

Thought the job had Sven written all over it to be honest.

Even if Tan's a nutter, opportunities to manage at that level don't come along very often for most managers. He could've turned it down but then seen his career stall for all sorts of reasons and the chance may never have come again. He would've been daft not to accept.

I see Tan has been snapped wearing a blue jumper there. What happened to it being bad luck?

    I saw that.

Very interesting. Hope he has a rethink and restores the Blue back to Cardiff's kit.

Agree but think he was probably trying to not look like he was supporting Arsenal.......

Thing is it's a no-lose for him. If he gets sacked then everyone will blame crazy Tan, and if he does well they'll applaud him for making the most of a bad situation.

Is the next thing going to be to complain that the thread has become about CTWD rather than Solskjaer if anyone involved in the group responds? Only I know the follow on from that is to complain that we're letting every thread become about CTWD rather than the original subject. I'd have thought based on your previous postings you two would have been keen on adopting Craig's suggestion on this about having one thread for the general discussion, which I said I'd be happy to apply, rather than being the ones to bring the group into another thread and then give a slap on the back for doing so.

I'm not sure there is much competition from us for their players at the moment. They may have some kid that could stick away a few goals, but they'd be a gamble and I think we're likely to go for a bigger name in that position. In other positions I don't think they've really got anybody that's better than what we've got that they'd be prepared to loan us, and we're not likely to be able to afford to pay their wages to buy them.
