According to the Lancashire Wool Weavers Weekly (delivered free to discerning farms in North East Lancashire), Oldham are interested in signing Vardy in January. Let's hope his head's not turned. #FosseArmy
Not sure which Vardy your on about. Bob Vardy the kitman, Jeff Vardy the coach or Benjamin Vardy the tea lady? Does Vardy have a son? dead cert for a youth team if so
Oldham, being the bigger club than Hull, would stand a better chance of signing Vardy over your league cup conquers
Oldham is not in NE Lancs. Oldham is famous for cotton, not wool. In 1910 Oldham produced more cotton than the whole of mainland Europe. Oldham Athletic have been runners up the league, reached the League Cup final and a number of F.A. cup semis. Some clubs close to home ain't done any better than that.
It was a joke, the specifics were really not that important, though you if you want some Oldham wool, I'd recommend this mob... http://www.mallalieus.com/
. . Oldham's a bit random? I also have a minor concern that we apparently have a 'tea lady' called Benjamin ... only from the perpsective that, on the last occasion that we were in close proximity with persons of possible trans-gender characteristics, it resulted in 3 players being sacked
I've got a sensible point to raise with you now. I noticed on Tuesday night, that at the front half of the north stand at our place your lot were all sat down but all the rest were all stood. Do they sell the tickets in such a way as to allow this to happen? (ie is there some sort of 'if you want to sit please request a seat at the front' type option when you buy tickets for away games?) It's something that strikes me as common sense, but it doesn't seem to happen with most clubs.
Nothing like that on our side. Maybe the people in the middle stood up, so the guys behind did as well and so on - just worked out like that. Then again I have seen people smacked in the back of the head for blocking other peoples views if they stayed standing and the person behind stat down before.
I've found that people will try to buy seats at the front if they want to sit and, if they fail to do so, will ask to swap seats with people who want to stand.
This is the other thing. People think they have a right to tel you if you can or can't stand. I myself was punched in the back of the head by a moron because his daughter couldn't see. I was very drunk and thus unaware he had a little girl with him but this happened before he said a word and also before kick off. On the whole we're quite polite to each other but we've got a lot of utter ****s that follow us away. For instance, the pie incident at Hull.
Very sensible, though I've seen many occasions where fans who want to stand have offered to swap places with those behind them who want to sit, but they refuse because 'this is the seat they've paid for'. There's some morons out there.
Each to their own AKCJ ... keep a lookout for larger than expected hands and the 'adams apple' .. enjoy yourself mind
