Lee would have made his decision based on a number of factors, based around what is most profitable for himself, both financial and reputational - and we shouldn't criticise him for that. There is no hiding place for football managers and the axe falls on them first, before the players who let them down. Good luck to him. An astute professional who despite the abuse he received from a vocal minority at City has nothing but good things to say about our club. Who knows, he may come back to manage us one day? things did go a bit stale at Oldham so maybe it was a good time to move on CV said top 10 of the league 1 when headhunted by Barnsley..in no way would Oldham have lost 4-0 to PNE yesterday if he had waited another week! so maybe cost us a couple points advantage!!!!! Barnsley top 6 possible but not probable.....
