Ford Heath; the middle of nowhere
Pretty decent performance, especially in the second half. Impressed by a lot of players - mostly Bradshaw. Wasn't our best player but worked his socks off, made the goal, was full of running and won several headers. I was also impressed with his build-up play, but the question remains as to why he's only playing like this now. I recognise Oldham looked somewhat disinterested, but that doesn't affect M'Voto's ability to win a header against a 5'6" tiddler like Bradshaw. Toss up between Taylor(who seemed to play the Gareth Bale role of being nominally a left winger but actually playing wherever he felt like!) Joey, Goldson and Mambo for the overall best player though.

i suspect young tom has been "doing it" all season in the reserves, and has belatedly been given a chance up front in the dying embers of the season. i have been speaking in the wilderness about young toms performances. last night he proved himself by playing 90 minutes and providing the assist for an excellent goal

next season tom needs to play alongside a proven experienced goal scorer, and if tom gets 10 goals and 10 assists, his selection will have been proved right.

If the only supply of balls for forwards to attack with have been crosses and hoofs all of the season and then we see a team who tried to keep it on the ground and pass it, the suddenly one of our forwards starts to look more promising...

Bradshaw for me - I was impressed by his energy and intelligent runs down the wing all night. If it proves to be his swan song for us at least he is going out on a high note.
