http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30678251 If Evans had thought like that he may well be in less trouble.
Hasn't this witchunt gone on long enough? Every time the guy looks on the verge of finding a club, the one parent, save the whale, tree hugging mob shows up to hold another lynching. Ignoring the fact that he has, and still does maintain his innocence, he is now effectively being hounded out of the only profession he knows. Is there some new law that says that people have to continue to pay for their crimes for the rest of their lives? As for Ed Sillybollocks, he should just keep his mouth shut for a change.
The problem he has is being in the public eye. I'm not saying that it's right to make someone pay for their crimes their entire lives - this isn't an Islamic State ffs! - but I can understand why no one would want this player at their club, to (potentially) be idolized by their children. The more in the public-eye one's persona is, the greater the degree of responsibility not to err. This is why we demonize politicians, etc, who offend the mores of any particular epoch.
Firstly, he's not a high profile premier league player, we're talking about Oldham, Ffs. Secondly, the only reason he hasn't bern taken up by a club already is because those clubs, and their sponsors have all been intimidated into backing down by this mob rule. Does getting pissed and killing somebody in a traffic accident set a good example for kids?? Luke McCormick did exactly that, got sentenced to over 7 yrs, but still got a job in football after serving his time. So why is what Evans supposedly did any worse?
Glenn Hoddle lost his job as England manager because Tony Banks MP took offence at Hod's religious views. **** happens when you have a high profile.
It'll be a joke if it doesn't tbh, seen the CCTV footage, she may be a little tipsy, but she doesn't stagger, slip or miss a step, and the tweets she attempted to delete make her look like a gold digging chancer. He is guilty for being a footballer a jealous jury wanted to teach a lesson for saying 'I'm a footballer, if I want to have sex I can find plenty of available women anytime"
I believe his conviction will be overturned and he will be a free man but I doubt he will ever get his life back. This nonsense about the woman changing her name 5 times. Who exactly is telling Cheds team of spy's where she i and who she is. Hardened gangsters struggle to find those taken into police protection so how she keeps getting found is a little weird.
