Manchester United are on the brink of joining neighbours City in Middle-Eastern ownership as the clubs prepare for their top-of-the-table derby clash tomorrow.

The Daily Express understands that United’s owners, the Glazer family, are “only haggling over details” with a deal to sell the club to Qatar Holdings virtually done at £1.6 billion.

I would really hope if the Glazers left at the end of this season and Manchester United was taken over, Glazers have brought nothing other than debt to our club. If this deal was to be done, I could really see them investing in new players straight away so that we can be the team we use to be.

    Thoughts?
