Found this while clearing out my Mam's house. Thought I'd share as looked like a good photo. Any Ideas what year this is?

I don’t know mate but I’ve just played golf with Stan Anderson’s nephew and do so twice a week at least.

 

Just a guess but if Shack and Stan Anderson are together it's got to be late 50s, 57 or 58 possibly.

 

Sounds right. Wikipedia says that Billy Bingham was still here in 58, so may be able to piece it together from the overlaps.

You'd have thought that the lad who took the time to write the players names on the back might have put the season on too! Looks likes my Dad's writing but not sure.

 

Arthur Wright retired in 1955 so its my guess that the year, could even be 54

 

When we'd never been relegated. Can you imagine?

Charlie Flemming arrived that year, so it can't be earlier and since Arthur Wrightretired that year, that nails it.
