what is it about qpr and old italian players, we seem to be linked to the ones than are put out to graze, to be honest im not over keen on these overseas oldies we need something more than them to improve the team, i think its got to be briatore behind this he does seem to like the old italian pensioners id rather go for a good young british player but saying that some of the money being banded a round is silly ,i hear they want 4 million for the guy from peterbrough unproven at the top level 2 million tops,so i do realise warnock has his work cut out to find the right player for the right price but im sure he will do us proud in the end

I'm sure Warnock isn't looking for old Italians, it seems we'll get career enders looking for a final payday from Uncle Flav or any of the many free transfers floating around at present. It doesn't look too promising!

Why stop at ancient Italians? Time to think outside the box maybe.

I'm sure Briatore or a desperate journalist can fix a meet with Zidane... we could wheel him out to take our free kicks. Can't be any worse than what we've got already!

And sign Matterazzi as well and Zidane could give headbutting lessons! :headbang:

Your right, he is bloody high maintenance but he can still put himself around. He loves slide tackling me in the back garden for no aparent reason!! Typical Italian!

Nice one rrrr's. Samp was always my Italian team. Even Davy Platt was top quality for them in his day :emoticon-0108-speec

Hope Eccles is sufficiently in tune with football now, to know that Flabio knows even less than he does. At least Eccles recognises his own crashing ignorance on the topic...

That's a good point Goldhawk. I recall a lot of guys having a go at him when he said he doesn't really watch us play and knows F*ck all about the game. I think it was fair enough. An owner (Flav) thinking he does know the game when he hasn't a clue is far more damaging than one with little interest.

    Fair enough?
Bernie has said some terribly derogatory things, letting it be known that he doesn't give a **** about club/fans.

    What "terribly derogatory things" exactly?

I don't have to cos they weren't terribly derogatory! Everything that megalomaniac buddy of his has done since joining the Club, on the other hand, has been damaging to the Club. His obsessive and destructive carry on in the last few years makes worrying about Ecclestone's occasional nonchalant soundbites seem rather pointless.

I'm off to the garden myself!
