Old Football Programmes.

Anybody save their football programmes, got a collection?

I've got quite a few from over the years, not all Newcastle ones but from almost every club in the Country. Just put my hand on an old Manchester United one that's signed by Harry Gregg and Duncan Edwards. A Man Utd ticket v Newcastle priced at £2.60 and a ticket from the Len White Testimonial Match in 1989 with a Newcastle United v All Star XI which also featured an Ex-Newcastle XI v Ex-Sunderland XI and a District Schools 6-a-side Tournament to start the proceedings, all for the grand price of £3.

Funnily enough there's one from Fulham against us on Saturday 16th December 1978, almost 30 years to the day of our game tomorrow.

And believe it or not, but the score was the one I'll be putting a few coppers on tomorrow, 3-1.

 

Yeah ive got loads, I got a huge box of loads of old 1s when my grandad passed away, im sure theres 1 from the fairs cup final!! Theres some earlier 1s aswell!

 

Good to rummage through them and recall days of yesteryear.
