Nearly calmed down with the excitement of watching the young kids coming on on Saturday and play so fearlessly, I thought about the options TM would have if everyone is available.

Here are 2 teams I have knocked up which I think underlines the above (and I still couldn't find space for everyone):

    "OLD" Team:
    Bass
    Gooch Wright Baath O'nein
    Roberts Matete Evans Embleton
    Pritchard Stewart

    "YOUNG" Team:
    Patterson
    Huggins Ballard Alese Cirkin
    Clarke Ba Neil Bennette
    Michut Diallo

    Subs for either team:
    Hume, Dajaku, Simms

Matete in "OLD" Team because he is a year older than Neil <doh> <laugh>

Now the hard part of deciding who would win and who I would prefer to watch :emoticon-0138-think

With it being a no pressure game, I would take the youngans.

Its a decent point though, we have options, thanks to our recruitment strategy over the last 2 or three windows, its going to be interesting to see who survives over the next couple of windows, a few favourites will bite the dust imo.

It's no good hiding away from the fact that SAFC are, at this moment, and for the foreseeable future, a selling Club.

Just like about 86 of the other Clubs in the league structure.

The best we can hope for is that we control the sales, or most of them, to a time that suits us,.

I’d prefer to watch the younguns and I also think they would batter the ‘oldies’

Thinking of the current 11 apart from Bass I don't think there is much worry that a players 'counterpart 'wouldn't e able to come in and do a job in the position. In most places there is a chance the lad coming in could be better.
