Well i'm back from a week in the sun to a new gaffer and links to numerous new players.

Looks like Conway has just signed....good times.

seems to be!! apparently Earnie's coming back too!!

 

So the rumour mill says....Earnie hasn't ruled it out himself so we'll see what Malky does.

 

there's a lot of pressure of Malky, lets hope he's got the balls that DJ didn't.

 

Just think we should calm the Earnie talk a little. He would only be a good signing if we're going to play lots of 4-4-2. Yes he's a Cardiff hero. Yes he's still got it. Yes he'll put bums on seats. But he is 30 and he may not figure in MM's plans. Think this regime should be founded on long term goal and we need to be pretty ruthless to stick to these ideas.

That said, it might well be that Earnie might well be a good fit for a season or two??...

 

Earnies game was always based on blistering pace over the first ten to fifteen yards, he may have lost this now, he's a few years older after all, he may come back and do a job, but I'd hate to see him come back, flop and lose his legendary status.

 

He's looked pretty sharp the last 2 games I saw him. Pity he hit the post vs the jacks. Getting his 2nd the world may seem a much nicer place!

 

The Conway signing does show the power that City has. Lots of clubs looking at him, but we got him. Meanwhile some new clubs in the Prem can't attract anyone with quality!!
