Fresh from a lot of banter yesterday about my use of the words idiot, fathead, ****er and clueless twat when describing our manager, I've woken up this morning to a more conciliatory Sunday morning perspective. Having seen once again on TV the blood spattered body of Uncle Gaddafi being dragged through the streets of Tripoli this week, I had to ask myself is that what I want for Bruce. Really? The answer is no.

I'm still very much a BoB and if Martin O Neill were to be asked and accept this morning, I'd be ecstatic. However, this simply isn't going to happen is it. No matter how much I want to see the back of Bruce, I dont make the decisions so its pointless.

So, having watched SAFC TV this morning and the 2 or 3 interviews he has done in the last week or so, I have decided to again call a truce for this week. There is a game this weekend which is very important both for points in the bag and a bit of payback for an ex-employee, plus Alex Mcleish gets right on my ****ing tits.

We have found a wining formula in the team yesterday and looked very dangerous in that last 30 mins, so anyone with sense will leave well alone you'd think and give them another go on Saturday?

Start showing me and the other BoB's you can learn from you early season blunders and stop friggin about and tinkering with the team. With the exception of Bardsley back at left back for the poor defensive qualities of Richardson, I'd keep this team until a loss of form or injury dictated otherwise. In Connor Wickham we have a young but physically incredible lad, who has 50 or 60 first team games under his belt already for Ipswich and is no novice and looked hungry and happy to be playing yesterday. Let him go and show us why we and so many others were keen to capture the signature of the lad in the summer. Owen, Rooney and a host of other young players were first team regulars at 17 or 18 and in Owens case, an established England International at 18 as well.

Over to you Bruce. Don't **** it up this time.

I agree. I too thought Wickham looked like he will be a good player who will improve with games.

A settled team is what is required and I wonder if this has been part of the problem? Bruce brought in so many players (due to having so many loan players last year, selling henderson and others, who shall be nameless, leaving) that he did not know his best team until they had all played a few competitive games. Together with injuries and suspensions we have not been able to play the same lads 2 games running, especially in defence. Continuity is so important at the back and in the centre of midfield and I am sure if we play this team and formation the results will come.

I also think it is interesting that both our wins have come without Cattermole in the team. Maybe there is a lesson there for Bruce too.

I hope a lesson has been learned, we'll win games if we pick the players to win them and send them out in a formation set to attack. yesterday we showed a hell of a lot of creativity (at least in the second half) and this enabled us to attack Bolton. If, as a lot of people have stated would have been our intention from the first game of the season, then no doubt we would be a lot better of points wise and SB would not be getting slatted as he is.

4-4-2 and an attacking/creative formation is the way forward (whoever we're playing at least give it a go, if we get beat we'll go down fighting).

Another valid question, is Catts days as a first choice starter numbered??

I'm actually really proud that we have Wickham, he is the future of England and who knows if he has a good season he could make the step up and get picked for next years Euro's.

Taken me a long time to become a BoB, and on the basis of one good half i havn't reverted back to my support for him.

Why do i still think he'll tinker with the team?

Com mate he has a long, long way to go to overcome the damage he has done and he needs be either very lucky or very good in the next few weeks, just to stop the critics such as myself from getting back on his case.

That starts again this saturday v Villa. He simply has to win that as well. No excuses and no friggin tinkering - apart from putting Bardsley back in the defence over Richo that is.

    Hope i'm wrong in this..

But i think he'll bottle it against Villa with the threat of his son in law and gabby bonked-a-whore.

Plus we all know he has a hard on about Charlie Insomnia (much like half this board).

So he'll try and stifle them, rather than play to our strengths. Like i said "hope i'm wrong".
