Did you notice that they have put a C for championship next to Adkins name, whilst they have, quite correctly, put League 1 against Poyet's? Is that because he started in the Championship this year? Anyway, it's good to see the analysis..just the sort of thing that NA likes to look at, draw a blue line under, and move on.
Good spot Adam........That is probably what is getting up his nose.........He will be back to OK we still won the league though syndrome. Still he is entitled, he did, or rather his players did. Strange how when you look at his sides progress this season how many points they actually took off the other top six sides. Is that an indication as to how they are likely to fair next season? 7 points is it, out of a possible 18? (Don't quote me that is just off the top of my head, it isn't very many though)
great find, the stats dont lie, but did anyone see charlie oatways comments (brightons first team coach) saying that he himself could of walked into st marys and taken us up. Another little dig from our bitter lot 65 miles down the road, he also said poyet is a much better manager than Adkins even though adkins twice took scunthorpe up through league one on a much smaller budget than poyet has at brighton, took them to the jpt final, and THEN kept them up in the championship on shoestrings as their budget was about 3 times smaller than everybody else's
