I don't know if it's just me, building this game up? It feels to me that it's a huge game. And it's not 'cos it's Pearson - it's because it'll show how much we've come on since the KP defeat; and it's also vital to hold on to 2nd place. And then there is Saturday's against TWS! UTT TFFT
I think the tension is building for all our Christmas and January games. I think it is more to do with teams having a blinder of a first half of the season only to drop off in the second half and I hope that City do not fall into that category. Southampton where the exception to that rule last season but look at how many times Cardiff have been in the promotion positions only to fall off back to a playoff position. I hope we can turn Leicester over today to negate our defeat at the KP, it would also be my dream to see us do the double on TWS. Shut the scumbags up
the quote in this video captures exactly how i feel about the tigers hahaaa http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_b6mrq1Enrw#t=0h2m5s added timecode to get to the appropriate dialogue
"It's not the despair, Laura - I can stand the despair; it's the hope...." Yeah - this being City, we'd almost be forgiven for losing 6 points in these two matches. Or we might have, once. But I'm afraid it's the hope that I'm going for...... [EDIT: But there's still the almost unbearable tension]
It's just one game out of a lot to come, people add a lot to it as there seems there are issues with other fans on this site and because of the ex-manager. For me I'm not interested in Leicester at all so it's just another game.
That is exactly the point, the important thing is we get 3 points, not wanting to beat them for any other reason, as you say 10 point gap is a lot to make up.
The only reason for naming Leicester is that they are a near challenger for us (= 5th). 3 points to us gives us a 10-point advantage over them. It's nowt to do with NP, and it'd be the same as now if it was Boro, or Cardiff, or Palace. With Leeds, though, there is another matter - we want to do the double if we can.
