Oh What a night

It seems as though it is almost 20 years since this unforgettable game took place. One of the best games/atmospheres I can remember. And Tino, well, he was just Tino.

Nah, it was a great night but we should have had a lot more

 

An incredible night, one not to be forgotten.
My luck was in that day, I was working for Newcastle Council at the time.
A rep rang me that afternoon asking if I wanted a ticket for the match.
Like any self respecting council worker, I said yes and the rest is history.

Time does passes by too quickly, and to think I was still in my 20's back then,

 

Remember at the end of the game walking out of st James laughing my head off
I just couldn't believe what I had just seen
Absolutely buzzing for days after

 

In your 20's

 

I'm gonna bet on Barca to cover myself.

There doesn't seem to be the same characters in the game anymore. Used to be loads of them such as Best, Marsh, Worthington, Osgood etc but Tino took the biscuit for me. No one like him at Newcastle before or since.

 

Its a lot better on film!
