Tuesday I did get to see that city had beaten Derby & Hull.. !
After 630 miles in a vehicle with top speed of 69mph a 10 min stop and 10 and half hours behind the wheel reached my base NW Sotland to a 3 day heat wave ... 22 degrees!
After my shoulder injury, and EMERGENCY OP 8 weeks ago now survived the rigours of my mission, and the team performed well.
Almost identical drive home, but in daylight this time .... [ road works for about 60 miles + ] new section of dual carriageway, 9 miles? north of Perth justa mess of heavy plant in Jan 2020 now complete ] so many posts on here to catch up on I will probably pass.
Had no news about Ukraine ... or politics ... a few locals mixed feelings over nickerless!
Made it back in time to vote for no Bristol mayor ....... just 55 mins to spare.
greatest moment looking up the results = 2 W 8-1.................. AND 1 GAME TO GO

Glad you had a good weekend JGF but that's a lot of driving <yikes>
Maybe next time do a postal vote (like I did) and save yourself some stress!
The lowlight of my day so far; making myself a cup of Tomato and Basil instant soup - the last packet in the box - only to find that the pesky wife had put a Chicken and Vegetable packet into the T&B box (the packets themselves are plain unmarked).
I don't like the C&V soup - yuk - but I hate wasting food even more so I made myself swallow it.
This type of thing will be about the most exciting thing happening (after tomorrow's game) over the next couple of months until my next visit to Benalmadena, planned for 5th July.
