Scored all 4 within 38 minutes, I didn't see it last week and I'm not watching tonight either, both probably similar in what's happening
Yes - amazed that Fulham are down there Also going the other way - Cardiff were awful when we played there
I said that Hull and Burnley will be promoted but that was hit with stats saying they won't also think Brighton v Boro playoff final
the top is very interesting to call will be clearer after tonight, top and bottom! Hull is the likely nailed on, but Midds form throughout the season has a couple bad patch's followed by a good one ... Current best sequence without losing is Burnley on 11 games ... Burnley 8w 3d ..... ...... 27PTS Hull 7w 2d 2L ... ..... ....23 POINTS Middsbro 6w 3d 2L ... .. 21 PTS Bright H A 5w 2d 4L ... .. 17 PTS Tonights game will have no effect on last 11 games for Midds as they go back to a winning streak. play off finals will include BURNLEY BHA possibly DERBY ( but is the comments on not wanting prem football yet a red herring ) and perm 1 from 5. my money is on Midds and Hull with Burnley the winning Wembglee candidate...
The thing about Hull, Burnley and Brighton that struck me was how well they were organised when they did not have the ball
Middsbro are in need of some inspiration, lost again so now the noose tightens around the necks of the top four ..who will cut themselves free ....
Mm mm, Hull were tidy in possession against us, but had nothing going forward. You guys see way more games than I do, but watching he Hull game I find it hard to believe they are the best side we have faced. It is odd how both Fulham and Reading have given us right hammering a this season, yet are barely above us in the league now. Just shows how open the Championship can be on any given day.
Yes, but that was when we were blindly and stubbornly trying to play a 3-5-2 system that all the Championship managers had managed to decipher. We have evolved for the better, whilst teams are now beginning to find THEM out..!! I hate to say it, but Cardiff are the ones on the up - they are steadily improving and thumped Brighton - who then went on to thump us - I can't see us getting a result this weekend - unless the local derby 'hoodoo' favours us.....
likely mentioned before we were at the mercy of 2 teams then higher up the division that had players who knew where the onion bag was, and had players that could penetrate 3-5-2 Fulham in particular were best suited scoring almost 2 times a game but conceding the same!
Not sure I agree with that; yes, they thumped Brighton 4-1, but they've also only won 2 of their last 5 games - 8 points from a possible 15 is decent, but not exactly indicative of a side with momentum. In that time we've won 4 from 5. I think it just goes to show how even and open the Championship is - it's not representative to judge teams on individual results. Though we lost 4-0 to Brighton, I think the magnitude of that scoreline wasn't reflective of the balance of play - naturally they deserved to win, but it wasn't a case of men against boys; more a case of clinical finishing, which on another night may not have fallen as kindly. I'll sit on the fence and say we'll rescue a 1-1 draw late on, having conceded in the first half.
