Having read the various articles on the way their club was stitched up by infighting crooks I take no pleasure in their demise. However, I am always reminded of the phrase "self praise is no praise" whenever they go on about what brilliant fans they are. I am particularly disappointed that so few of them are actually dipping in their pockets to back the trust. I actually thought about contributing to TPST myself but the very lovely Mrs Godders hid my cheque book when she heard of my plans.
Oh dear, now their manager has gone. But he loved the club didn't he? He was "one of us" as PFC fans often said. Mind you, if you look at his actual results record, regardless of the off-field dramas, it was pretty crap.
SB3 excepted, I hereby challenge any of you gents to find a thread where the rest of us have said how great we are all the time. I respect Appy he has been pretty professional for the most part. Blackpool fans are going to experience a manager that could not be more contrary to the one who's just left. Nigel is the same in my book, they are two good managers with a future.
