After the Chelsea/Arsenal game Marriner obviously came under scrutiny for sending Gibbs off rather than Oxlade-Chamberlain even though Ox told him it was him.

One of the defences offered was that once he'd shown Gibbs the red card he was unable to reverse the decision in order to then correctly send Oxlade-Chamberlain off in his place.

Can someone now explain how Eddie Ilderton has managed to show a straight red card to Sheff U's Kieron Freeman, yet the player is still on the pitch and Sheff U still have 11 players?

I admire your quest to make sure the second post in each thread has little to no substance in it.

    Keep going, seriously.

It' s Customary for Referee's to get a weeks worth of Partiality training in for a Minnow team - ahead of a big game.
