Its strange really, last season with apparently no hope we stayed up, DM would not have got the blame for going down, and currently we would then have hopefully been challenging Di Canio for top SWest team! Who to choose next will depend on how the board think! I believe last year the appointment was primarily scheduled in a drop down and bounce up again..this year it has to be the same thinking. As I stated weeks ago the teams to go down at game 23 played put us in a pretty dire position.......PRETTY MUCH DOOOOOOOMED............ Another big clean out, possibly more of the backroom staff having to be replaced, more disruption and players that wont necessessarily fit the new managers plans....what a start to 2013...
Most important decision to be made by the board. We need proven not potential. If someone can keep us up this year then I would be more confident going into next season. Could have been avoided if we had made the RIGHT decision in our managerial search when GJ was canned. Our owner decided to take another route, the wrong ones, and now we are seeing the end result for years of neglect and incompetence.
