Am I the only person whose heart sinks on reading that R Martin and Snodgrass will play a friendly for Scotland against Australia next week? Why have this kind of friendly one week before the action starts? Does anyone care about international football any more except for when the tournaments roll round? I'll breathe a sigh of relief if they both get through unscathed.
