I suppose here lies the problem of not having a defensive coach no-one really knows what they're looking for in a defender. Possibly the reason for having so many come in then leave again
Why oh ****ing why are we looking at 33yr old journeymen defenders. Jewell you are a ****ing clown and a disgrace, did you not say before the season started that you wanted to get in young, hungry players and not look at experienced journeymen? I tell you we are screwed if this guy stays in charge, i saw that on a recent poll 49% of Town fans wanted us to lose our next couple of games if it meant that Jewell was to get the sack, tells you everything really don't it!! To have that other ****ing useless twat Clegg come out and back Jewell shows just what a state our club is in from top to bottom, i pray that there are protests to oust Clegg and Jewell but i can't see it happening, unless JWM.........
This is the big problem Spanish! As a group of fans we are just too nicey, nicey and too ready to accept all the crap that comes our way. It must be something in the Suffolk water! Make no mistake these are the worst times in Town's history and yet we dont PROTEST! **** me I remember the protests against Duncan and McGiven and it wasn't half as bad as this!
suppose this adds to our youth policy We must be the laughing stock of (English) football at the moment. I keep waiting for someone to wake me up for my medication
Hog, thats the problem, people are gonna get bored/fed up with it all, this is why Evans must act now!! Its all very admirable (stupid in my eyes) backing Jewell but people will get fed up with it and stop going, its already atarted and will only get worse, attendances could drop to 14k soon if this carries on!!
I wish some of you would put things in perspective. All this talk of adding young hungry players is fine within a transfer window but we are not in a transfer window. We messed up horrendously when we had an opportunity to secure players easily and now we have to work with whats available until January Our current options are 1) keeping our current squad (not really an option is it) 2) get a loanee in - (none of you want this) 3) get an experienced out of contract player in - many of the decent ones will unfortunately be older.I doubt there are many highly rated 25 year olds without a club currently (none of you want this) 4) get someone in on loan with a view to a permaneant January move. (the ideal option but if that player is lower league then chances are he is already a first team player and his current club will need to get a replacement. Yes I would like option 4 and rule out option 1 but options 2 and 3 are the most likely yet all you will do is moan about both of these. Its not even like kicking the manager out will mean the new one can use our current squad. As we all know we do not have enough strength in depth for this to be an option. So after totally ballsing up our transfer activity in the summer the club is now trying to get a stronger squad. I think it safe to say that no-one we bring in will be what we want long term but it may hopefully be enough to stop us being relegated without a fight!
