Hardly any gossip, not even stupid not worth laughing about gossip.
Normally we are suffocating in reports of NUFC in for Uncle Tom Cobbly and all, but ..... Silence.
    Is this a good thing?
Is it indicative that NUFC under the glorious stewardship of Rafa, is at long last showing some professionalism ? And keeping its business confidential?
    Is it boring ?

I think it will go red hot after the euros, pretty much all the media outlets are concentrating on that for now.

I think Rafa will move really swiftly to get his signings. But it will be after the euros.

I'm going with the "no new is good news view"; I think they're keeping a lid on it, keeping everything calm and preparing for the championship in the correct way.

The fact that Sissoko is the only one who's come out with a "waaaah I'm too good for the championship, I'm leaving waaaah" outburst, shows that the rest of the squad appears settled and on Rafa's side.

Good article on .com. Seems they are busy working on stuff behind the scenes as well as discussing transfers and the players currently at the club. Great to hear and its a very good read actually and fills me with a lot of confidence for the season/years ahead under the Rafaloution.

Confused about the 4g pitch thing....I was playing on that stuff at least 4-5 years ago before I moved to Oz and it is quality stuff although the missus wasn't too keen on the black rubber crumbs falling all over the place in the house when I got back mind ! I would've thought they would have had that stuff at the training ground already !

Can't wait for things to get started again after the Euro's like...haven't been this excited about the start of a season for a long while which speaks volumes given we're in the chumpionship !!

Finally the club is moving forward. Some of the basics of understanding what is important in a football club, and a football club like ours, seems to have been missing for far too long. Benitez clearly has been around a long time and around enough successful clubs to know what is the minimum you must do, and also how to make sure all the various facets of a club connect.

I still think the guy is going to do a cracking job.

Its great to hear and its all the sweeter that it seems to annoy everyone else that the club has such a feel good factor and positive outlook after such an awful season and relegation.

Just seen that Rafa says it's all going well behind the scenes, so that's good enough for me.
It's such a strange thing to get used too, our club being run like a football club instead of a bring and buy sale in the village hall.
