Have been on a couple of other QPR sites tonight and it appears that a couple of sports journo's are twittering that NW will be announced as the surprise new Manager of West HAM in the morning. Thats just about put the tin hat on it!! I'm off to bed!!!!

I'd be surprised tbh. I think he'd retire to Cornwall sooner than joining a club outside the top flight but if he does I really don't blame him.

He is a West Ham fan so obviously he's keeping a close eye on their situation. Yes he said that a surprise candidate had been mentioned, but what he was saying was that the West Ham board were meeting today to finalize their short list of managers. Stop scare mongering. After what has happened I'm not saying that Warnock will stay, or that he won't be fired, but the last thing we need is fans reporting tosh from Twitter without actually looking into what has been said. Things are bad enough as they are.
I don't think the Mittals are finished at QPR - they've had an offer for the clue turned down by Ecclestone. That's just the first shot at the start of the war. They should be telling Warnock to hang on in there.
