Sick as **** about this! We were by far the better team at the time we conceded! And now the bastards up the road are only 2 points behind us as well! I couldn't think of anything worse happening! Why can;t we score when we bloody should! Unbelievable

We did not deserve anything else. We were poor today.

Who cares where we are in relation to you. We can both make top 10 this season. 8th and 9th either way would do us and one position difference hardly makes for "top dogs". As an aside, Reading are taking everyone down at the moment. This was likely to happen. Cheer up and move on.

Now QWOP I have no problem (and have never had a problem) with you.... BUT... I'll be amazed if our board isn't overrun with your colleagues taking the piss. Bramble should be shot with **** for that free kick he gave away. I'd have taken a point no doubt especially the form they're on. I'd start Graham against Arsenal. He's the type of player that will frighten their shaky defence although I don't know if mon will do it!

As I posted before the game, negative tactics has caused our downfall today.

A loss against relegation fodder is the result.

We set up to draw the match. Ended up with exactly what we deserved. Nowt

I thought they would never score second half from open play. Just one stupid challenge cost us the game. Bramble has done ok for us but what the **** was he doing. Much akin to Progrebnyak on OShea - completely pointless and gave a goal away. That said N'Diayeshouldve scored and we also should've had anothe pen for the foul on N'Diaye! We need Cattermole back as we have very little drive in the team without him

I'm sorry like, but cattermole won't make a difference to us in terms of being able to pass the ball and create chances.

We are an average, middle of the road side.

On reflection we are nowhere near a top 10 side. We have to realise that we are not out of the woods and preformances like this WILL drag us into a relegation battle. Even the most optimistic of us should see that 12th-14th is about the best we could do this year. No one in the team fills me with optimism for the future and I know I might be a bit raw straight after a defeat but, we just don't have anyone who can take a game by the throat and go for it lifting everyone around them.

It is easy to be balanced when viewing from the outside. I understand the emotion going around at the moment. Before and during January I thought we were screwed too. Fortunately, we have bought well and may have saved our bacon.

    Agree again with you Apone.
Cannot believe he didnt start with both Fletch & Graham. Still its good to know we can afford to have £8 & £5 mil subs on the bench.

He'll set up the same team against the gooners, as they prefer their opponents in open play <ok>

The way to play them is hold them and we might win it and I think he's right. This is the same team that beat West Ham and Wigan. Maybe DG will get another 20 minutes.

Would love to see him given a role at West Brom, I'd like to think we might beat them with 2 up front.

Reading did the same to us, its easy to complain about how a match goes (in our match we had 10 shots on target and they had 2, we scored once and they scored twice - killer) but when we were on top we didn't make them pay and then when it got tight they took their chances so fair play to them. From what I've heard of the match today Sunderland were the better team but if you don't take your chances then you get what you deserve.

As for the rest of the season there'll be ebb and flow but I thought we'd be tight before the season and it seems likely there wont be much in it again - so long as we're midtable I'll be happy! Don't be too down, you're safe this season.

"Pardrew will be talking about Europe again! " - Bloody hope so, we're playing Kharkiv next week!
