Sunderland AFC News And Banter Page: @GFN_France Interesting some reports that Valentin Roberge has gone back on agreeing the deal to Sunderland. Re-trying to persuade him. #SAFC WTF !
Once a contract has been agreed he cant go back on it therefore either this is bull or supposed agreeing of contracts is bull
If he hasn't signed anything then he can do what he wants. Pre-contract dealsas far as I'm aware aren't legally binding
He go jump in a lake for all i care we want player to come not to be persuaded any way it's probably a load of bull
This is about two weeks old mate and has since been refuted by the player and his agent. Nowt to worry about, the lads coming !!
Sorry for being late getting back to you folks, yes this GFN report was circulated several days before the Spurs game around the time the Bardsley story was at its peak. The initial suggestion in the report was that Roberge had changed his mind. This was refuted by his agent who said in l,Equippe ( at least I think thats what it was called ) that his client had made no such decision and was in advanced talks with an unamed EPL Club which Iam assuming was us.
Harry redknapp !, Roberge has been sounded out now, so he will wait and see if teams like Liverpool or Spurs go in for him like all these players, or a huge wage.
They are legally binding if you have signed the contract. You can a gree and sign for a club if in the last year of contract after January. Obviously won't start untill current contract runs out.
I can honestly say I don't care until and unless he signs and delivers some sort of goods. Lets face it, nobody had heard of him until a few weeks ago.
