Can't think why they haven't claimed Sinclair and Caulker, Dyer et al. I mean they've passed there to get to a PREMIERSHIP CLUB! :cheesy:

I am at a loss to see why some swans are claiming caulker, he is a spurs player ffs.

Mabon, whilst i agree with you that he is not a Swansea player. Without his sucessful year with us last season or maybe another PL club,Ii doubt whether he would have made the squad. So some credit must go to the Swans.

Fair play, he did establish his reputation playing for the mighty Swans.

He was chosen as a direct result of the season long loan with us, not for him playing for Spurs. So 4 players from last season's team are in the Olympics, which is a huge compliment to the club.

Mabon,"I am at a loss" to understand why you find "some Swans are claiming Caulker",to be so offensive.

Caulker spent the whole of last season playing for The Swans'. Indeed,he was integral to the team having such a successful season. Surely you can see that?

I don't think anyone is "claiming" him, since as you say "he is a Spurs' player",but for last season,at least,he was ours,if only on loan.

I tell you what,I've never spoken to the lad,but I am sure he is now thanking his lucky stars that Harry Rednapp let him out on loan.

Don't understand why anyone would be 'at a loss'. Of course he's a Spurs player but as others have said he wouldn't have got near this team if he hadn't been on loan to us. He's earned the place on merit playing as a Swan.

    Hope that's clear.

Agree kj. Had he stayed at spurs, he'd have been sat on the bench and wouldn't have been considered for team gb.

    I had a post deleted on the Cardiff board? here it is below;

That was in response to him putting up a video, promoting drugs! I very rarely go on the Cardiff board these days, as the content rarely merits it, and far too often there is very slow moderating to some very questionable stuff over there!............

I posted the following on a cross forum thread some months ago, viz,

    "Did I miss something?"

That was it,no abuse;no insult;no names, but it proved too much for them.

Somebody complained and asked to have it removed, and swampthingy duly obliged. He initially denied doing so,but then agreed that he had, acting on a request.

Shortly after the removal of the above post, sussexblue, posted that I had "antagonised" them when posting my condolences on the death of one of their former players.

They seem to live in a different world to everybody else, and I find them a toxic bunch,at best.

    Capital City club,eh?

I have never posted on there, I look sometimes but they are to deluded to warrant any kind of post. Quite happy to post elsewhere as the fans of other clubs appear to have things worth discussing.

phil all posts about that subject of weed were deleted, nothing against you mate

vetch: 'He initially denied doing so,but then agreed that he had, acting on a request.'

as you know vetch it was deleted about 6 weeks before you asked me about it, i then denied i had deleted any comments recently as i thought you were talking about the present but didnt realise you were still going on about something which was deleted 6 weeks back. let it go, life is too short.....<ok>

It's sad really to see a clubs fans and local media clutch at the flimsiest of straws. They are clearly in desperate need for some sort of recognition but while they linger in the Championship that is not going to happen. The national media will not give them the attention they crave whilst they ply their trade in lower league football.

The best description I have ever heard of Cardiff is that of it being a greedy city with a big mouth (I wish that was mine). At this moment in time perhaps calling it a petulant child that can't have it's own way may be more apt.

I can't even laugh at them anymore because the whole attitude of the people there is beyond belief. I feel genuine sympathy for their decent fans because their media and owners have turned their football club into the biggest laughing stock in British football.

I think it's eating them alive that their local rivals are now competing and being showcased on a world stage, getting rave reviews at a national level and now has the largest representation in the GB Olympic squad.

Can't bring myself to laugh anymore at the freakshow down the M4. Some people there really do need some sort of professional help.

Well at no point do they claim they are Cardiff players in all fairness - just that they are from Cardiff. I have no beef with that.
