Rumours that it came from the London Borough of Bexley ?

Looks like Reams doesn’t like the new owner & board (aka“our saviours”). I understand that he personally had a lot of emotional capital invested in the Murray regime, but really ??

I can’t understand this, as 99.99% of Charlton fans have welcomed them with gratitude after the Belgian prick ?

Any theories as to why Reams is so negative about our wonderful new owners ?

 

There are fans who will be upset the Belgian is leaving.

Having been banned 5 times through voicing my concerns about the squirrel and uncle I can only assume it is connected.

 

I think I said this before, whatever Charlton Life love, ITTV will hate. Simple as that.

 

All very strange, like the membership.

Let's see where we are in 12 months.

 

Royston, where do you get the impression from that Reams doesn't like the new owners?

Granted, he has said that his hatred for protesting Charlton fans and CARD runs deeper than his hatred for Duchatelet. He makes no secret of that. And a few times in the past, he has posted that he would be happy for Duchatelet to stay, just because it upsets the anti-RD fans that he hates more than RD himself (or words to that effect).
Personally, I think those kinds of comments are primarily just meant to wind people up, or are posted when Reams has been particularly angered by something the protesters or CARD did.

But I've not seen anything Reams has posted to suggest he does not like the new owners.

His post (copied above) might be another wind-up attempt, to upset the protesters/CARD fans.
Or he may genuinely have heard a rumour.
If Richard Cawley has tweeted that the rumour isn't true, then there must actually be a rumour circulating. Or at least there was one for a while.

I struggle to believe Reams would simply automatically dislike the new owners only because they are popular on CL.
Being a Charlton fan is a much bigger experience than disputes between rival fans forums - isn't it?

A typically fair minded post but put it another way - where have you seen Ivor welcome our new owners ? He was quick to start a fake news thread - hilariously called out by Rich Cawley - claiming they deal was off. There was no “text” because he doesn’t know a soul at Charlton. I’d like to think I know a few of the faces - @Beware of the Virus is one of them - and not one of them knows or talks about or fraternises with P.May.

In truth, he’s a Cardiff fan running a Charlton forum for reasons best known to himself. He never seems happy with positive Charlton news. Promotion ...Bowyer ....Abu Dhabi...all met with the same churlish response.

 

I agree, Reams does not seem to be much of a fan of Lee Bowyer.
But neither was I, until he achieved what I believed what could not be done under RD - got Charlton promoted back to the Championship.
And Reams has shown little if any enthusiasm towards the new owners so far.
I was just saying that he has not said anything directly negative about the new owners either, as far as I know.
Granted his 'rumour' post can be interpreted as being indirectly negative about them.

I have only been posting on ITTV since September 2015.
My experience of Reams only goes back that far, and I don't know him personally at all. You have probably known him for a lot longer, and know him a fair bit better than I do.

He’s been to one game all season - and sat in the away end . I’ve shared this on Twitter. Embarrassing- but nobody on ITTV has the balls to stand up to him.

 

Fair to say that Reams’ ridiculous rant about Bowyer has gone down very badly away from his sycophantic ITTV bubble ...
