I was falling asleep watching today's game,very poor indeed ,and stevie cotts says these guys are tired . I Feel sorry for these football players that possibly play two 90 minute stints,and a nice little bit of training.some weeks they will play just 90 minutes. These guys are paid extremly well,and are supposed to be fit atheletes. What goes on during the week,it does make you wonder. That was another poor display today.
I thought we started well but quickly faded. After the goals we scored we looked quite good, until we then conceded almost straight away and looked poor from then onwards.
This result may well come back to bite us at the end of the season. I and everyone else knows that 1 point at home to fellow strugglers is just not good enough. No excuses.
But we could be relegated with the least number of defeats, the most draws and of course the least number of wins ever known by a relegated side! To get ourselves out of the quicksand, we need more than the three wins in the last ten matches.
Like someone said on twitter, if the past two results was reversed we would of been happy drawing at orient and beating Tranmere.
True but again we've failed to capitalise on an unexpected result midweek and have instead followed it up with a largely lacklustre display (Baldock aside) when we should have bust a gut to get all 3 points Very disappointing display, result, and attitude
As my crunch games post highlights the bottom 12-13 teams have around 33 points to be gained from fellow strugglers, if they all won the home games, us included we would go down!...EVEN IF WE WON ALL OURS! we lost 2 points, the booby prize was a POINT . THOSE 3 WINS are positives to our GD, LOSSES ARE negatives we are in the soft sand an hour after the tide is going out, as you know at W S M the further out the tide the softer and deeper the mud.......... Almost right! Had we played say Walsall or Port Vale at home instead of TRANMERE ...Tranmere is a crunch team, they have gained a solid advantage over us with this draw and we have lost the game advantage they had over us, they can now afford to draw it instead of win it.... ANY WAY YOU LOOK AT IT YESTERDAY WAS WHAT COMES OUT THE END OF A SEWER PIPE
bottom line ROD IS we are erratically composed ****e...headless chickens..up a creek without a manager, sorry paddle who knows what excuse or hot air expulsion comes next..................
