Would have never put Parky down as a motivator.

Whatever you think of Parky he didn't seem to subscribe in any way to the footballing style arsenal seek.

Good luck to him, I can't see his style of football working at Arsenal but the players at Charlton seem to like him and want to play for him.

Hope it works out and hope we get them as our big pre season friendly!

"Parkinson has been working for the club in a scouting role in recent weeks and is highly regarded within the game as a coach and motivator"

Obviousy Arsene had not been following his tenure as our "manager"
I can think of a lot of things he is highly regarded as, but coach and motivator are not 2 of them.

No one stops to think that parkys "style" was relevant to what he had at his disposal in personnel ?

Obviously for Parkinson's commitment to flowing, attractive football. You know, given that our new owners have got no money to spend, it was a mistake to fire him and replace him with someone less experienced. I heard on the CL rumours thread that we have the same budget to build a team as last year. I bleedin' hope that our scouting significantly improves.
